Targeted Podcast True Crime Domestic Violence

Oct 16, 2018

Alone, permanently disabled, and unable to work, Tracey Thurman sued the City of Torrington for violating her rights because they did not protect her from her husband’s abuse as they consistently refused to seriously respond to domestic violence.

As Tracey's lawyer said, "Needless avoidable human suffering caused by official incompetence or indifference or hostility or bigotry offend me deeply."

In order to understand the controversy about whether or not Tracey Thurman could or should have sued the city of Torrington for violating her 14thAmendment Rights, we should probably understand a little something about the US Constitution.
